Postponed sports awareness day to go ahead this weekend

DROITWICH residents are being reminded the Spa’s 2012 Legacy Day, postponed early this month due to bad weather, is being held tomorrow, September 22.
Town sports clubs and societies will be demonstrating a variety of sports, fitness and leisure activities at Droitwich Spa High School and Droitwich Leisure Centre, Briar Mill, from noon - 4pm.
The Legacy Day aims to offer sport and fun for everyone, with live music, refreshments, fete activities, stalls and even an Olympic torch, to create a real carnival atmosphere.
Fifteen sports club have already signed up to provide free 'have a go' sessions in a wide range of sports including martial arts, golf, rugby, boxing, gymnastics, climbing, swimming and even scuba diving or snorkelling.
