THIS weekend sees the return of Hanbury Hall and gardens’ popular Apple Day which is taking place on Saturday, September 22.

Visitors will get the chance to take a look at some of the rare varieties of apple grown at the National Trust property, get advice from experts on growing their own, and buy some of the harvest.

The tea room will also be serving its own home-made apple treats as part of the day.

As part of a weekend long exhibition of their work, the Worcestershire Woodturners will also be at the hall, demonstrating their skills in the Long Gallery on Saturday and Sunday.

Visitor services manager, Alice Eddy said: “There’s so much to see and do for everyone here at Hanbury Hall. Our Apple Day is always very popular, especially all the yummy apple treats in the tea-room. Having the Worcestershire Woodturners back again is brilliant too, they are a real favourite among the visitors.”
