PUPILS from a Droitwich school have been making new friends at the start of the school year.
Youngsters at St Peter’s CE First School, in Church Lane, celebrated friendship week by making and sending cards to friends for the start of the new term.
The children also participated in activities with youngsters from other classes.
Teachers challenged the pupils to think and talk about how they can be a good friend, and how to make the school a friendlier place.
Tracey O'Keeffe-Pullan, the school’s headteacher, said: “It is so important for pupils to be happy in the school environment, particularly in reception and for new pupils into school.
“This activity highlights the importance of friendship and working together.”
