A MAN is in a critical condition after he was found injured on a main road in Droitwich.
West Mercia Police were called to the A38 Copcut Elm at 11.40pm on Thursday, September 6 after a pedestrian was seen on the carriageway.
On arrival, officers found the injured man who appeared to have been hit by a vehicle.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene, before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. On Monday, he was reported as being in a critical but stable condition.
The road was closed until 5.05am the following day to allow for a full examination of the scene.
Witnesses to the incident are asked to call police on 101, quoting 749-S-0609.
