A TEAM of disabled helpers at Droitwich Railway Station has given the site a blooming marvellous boost.

Disability charity Worcestershire Lifestyles, which operates the Snax on Trax kiosk at the Union Lane station, has recently formed a gardening group. With the support of London Midland the group’s efforts have transformed the public areas of the station.

The planters and troughs have been a riot of colourful summer flowers and have been admired and appreciated by the travelling public and customers alike.

The group are now undertaking autumn planting to ensure travellers are greeted by a colourful display as the dark mornings and nights approach.

Craig Gould, Worcester line manager for London Midland, said the transformation over the last few months has been spectacular and thanked the group of disabled adults for all its hard work.
