THE search has now started to find this year’s Worcestershire Women of the Year.
A lunch to launch the search for nominations will take place on Wednesday, September 26 at Worcester Rugby Football Club. The event is being hosted by St Richard’s Hospice in partnership with Wednesday Club, a networking forum for businesswomen in the county.
Nominees, who live or work in Worcestershire, are being sought for categories including achievement, voluntary and business.
Andrea Palmer, manager of Wednesday Club, said: ”We have some very special women in Worcestershire who work extremely hard in the work force or in their communities. It’s these ladies we want to reward and thank for doing incredible things in Worcestershire.”
The winners will be honoured at a prestigious lunch and awards ceremony, with a celebrity speaker, on Friday, September 27, 2013, at Fews Marquees in Hanbury.
Tickets are now available for Worcestershire Women of the Year launch lunch at a cost of £25 per person. Any profits made from the event will be donated to St Richard’s Hospice.
