A BEAUTIFUL garden in Elmbridge is set to welcome visitors for an extra weekend.

Owners Charles and Carlo Caddick’s charming garden at New House Farm in Elmbridge Lane, Elmbridge, will be open for an extra weekend this year that was not planned or shown in the National Gardens Scheme’s Yellow Book guide.

The garden will be open on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16 from 2 - 4 pm, with an admission price of £4 for adults and free for children.

The garden, which is two and a half miles from the centre of Droitwich, has a wealth of special features including a ‘Perry Wheel’, ornamental vegetable gardens, a water garden, dry garden, rose garden, mews, the retreat, a potager and a greenhouse. There are rare trees and shrubs under planted with unusual bulbs and herbaceous plants, dahlias from the national collection, topiary and tropical plants to complete the effect.

There is also a new plant nursery with many exotics for sun and shade. In addition during the September weekend there will be a plant clearance sale. Refreshments will also be available.

There are other gardens open for the NGS in Worcestershire in September. More information on all NGS gardens open can be found at ngs.org.uk
