DROITWICH Spa Photographic Society (DSPS) is preparing to host a talk from a top wildlife snapper.

Jonathan Scott will be presenting a talk called A Wild Life: On Safari with the Big Cat People and will show images from his book ‘The Marsh Lions: The Story of an African Pride’ while looking back over 30 years of capturing stunning wildlife photography.

Anyone who buys a ticket for the event, which will be held at Droitwich Spa High School, Briar Mill, on Monday, September 24, can also win a signed copy of the book.

The talk is being held at 7:30pm and is one of only four British appearances by Jonathan this year.

Clive Turner, club chairman, said: “The timing could not be better, three weeks into our new programme and many people have been inquiring about tickets, not just established members but also what we hope will become new faces at the club.

“Many people know Jonathan from his appearances on the BBC series Big Cat Diary and with a limit on the capacity at the school it is important that people book their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment and also to win a copy of this wonderful book.”

Tickets, priced at £12, can be obtained by going to droitwichcamera.co.uk or by contacting the secretary on 01905 774557.
