YOUNGSTERS enjoyed some fun in the sun at a party in the park in Droitwich.
Each summer Wychavon District Council ’s community development team organises the events to provide young people with entertainment in the school holidays and showcase what community groups have to offer.
Organiser Tracy Grubb said the event at Droitwich Lido Park on Tuesday, August 28 was a big success, with large crowds showing up to join in the fun.
“We had good weather, lots and lots of people and it was just a really good day,” she said.
Children were given special “activity passports” when they arrived, which they had stamped as they moved around various activities including judo, circus skills and graffiti art design.
Party in the Park events also took place in Pershore on Wednesday, August 29 and Evesham on Thursday, August 30.
