A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a two car collision.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called to a crash in Droitwich this morning.
The collision, involving two cars, took place along the A38 near to the Chateau Impney junction at around 7.05am.
Two fire crews from Droitwich attended, along with police and ambulance staff, and firefighters used heavy rescue equipment to remove the roof of one of the vehicles involved for easier access to a female casualty inside the car.
The woman was checked by paramedics at the scene and then taken by land ambulance to hospital.
