WORCESTERSHIRE Wildlife Trust is inviting families to discover more about wildlife during some holiday events.


Events cost £3 per child and booking is essential on 01905 754919. 


On Thursday, July 26, there will be Wings and Waders at Upton Warren between Droitwich Spa and Bromsgrove, involving bird bingo, visiting a hide and making nests.


On Tuesday, July 31, a Mi-Newt Monsters events takes place at Lower Smite Farm, between Droitiwch and Worcester. People can dip the pond and find an eft and learn amphibian facts.


An Early Birds event takes place on Thursday, August 2 at Feckenham Wylde Moor, Feckenham, near Redditch, where participants will be able to discover why the early bird catches the worm on a trail around the nature reserve and listen to the birds.


On Tuesday, August 7, at Lower Smite Farm, families will learn amazing minibeast facts and prepare for tough competition at the Minibeast Olympics.


On Thursday, August 9, the Warren Academy takes place at Ipsley Alders nature reserve, Redditch. Visitors can discover what’s involved in looking after a nature reserve.
