A GROUP of dads and a teacher from a town school have taken on the Three Peaks Challenge.

The gruelling test saw a team from St Peter’s First School, Church Lane, Droitwich, take on 26 miles of walking, 10,000ft of ascent and a 500 mile drive to conquer Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowden.

They set off at 9am on Friday, June 29 from the school to complete the challenge in just 24 hours.

The dads prepared for the test by doing a night walk across the Malvern Hills.

All proceeds raised will go towards buying new IT equipment for the school.
