FIRE crews from Droitwich and Worcester were called to Fernhill Heath at around 3.45am this morning following a road traffic collision involving a minibus.
Crews arrived to find that the minibus had left the road and overturned on to its roof, with one male trapped inside it. Firefighters used stabilising equipment to secure the vehicle and then worked to release the casualty from the minibus using specialist heavy cutting gear.
He was treated at the scene by a BASICS doctor before being taken by ambulance to hospital.
Crews left the incident shortly after 4.35am.
