DR WHO legend Colin Baker returns to the Malvern stage next week in the world premiere of new comedy The Final Test.

Brought to the stage by Ian Dickens Productions International Ltd, The Final Test also stars Peter Amory (Emmerdale’s Chris Tate), Grange Hill’s Karen Ford who played art teacher Miss Booth for seven years and newcomer Nicola Weeks.

Peter and Ruth have had a long and happy marriage.

They both have their own interests; he loves listening to the cricket on the radio, she likes to travel.

But when his wife announces that she has sold the house and she’s moving to Bexhill-on-Sea with her lover, the new owners discover they have an elderly cricket-loving squatter living in the garden.

The Final Test is the first stage play by highly-acclaimed novelist Chris Paling and runs at Malvern Theatres from Tuesday to Saturday, June 26 and 30.
