CRICKET mad youngsters raised money for charity through a number of different projects.
Pupils from St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, in Ombersley Way, took part in projects ranging from kwik cricket to cake sales. They raised money for St Richard's Hospice, CAFOD and Varanasi.
Year six teacher Catherine Dunn said: "The children have been so enthusiastic about organising and working on their projects. They came up with money raising ideas themselves and researched the charities beforehand so their efforts had more meaning."
