HANBURY is again preparing to welcome visitors to its annual village fete.
The popular attraction will be held by residents on the grounds of Hanbury Hall on Saturday, June 16 from 2 - 5pm.
The event will feature a host of attraction for all the family to enjoy.
This year there will be an Olympics theme with a fancy dress competition for children to don traditional costumes from around the world.
Other attractions will include entertainment from children of Hanbury First School, Arrow Valley Brass Band, a bouncy castle, real ale and hot pork baps, a display of vintage vehicles, archery, traditional stalls, face painting and much more.
The fete is an event which, through the efforts of many in the surrounding community, brings together both villagers and those from further afield to enjoy an afternoon of interest and entertainment.
It will also raise funds for Hanbury Village Hall, the village’s school and clubs and Hanbury Church.
Michele Dunn, from Hanbury fete committee, said: “We hope the variety of attractions that have been arranged will be enjoyed by all that attend. It is always a really special afternoon out in a good old fashioned country way.”
Admission costs £2 per adult and is free for children. The fee includes access to the gardens of Hanbury Hall.
No dogs can be admitted to the grounds due to National Trust policy.
