Witton Middle School entered 40 pupils from Year 7 into the Junior Mathematical Challenge 2010 which was aimed at Year 8 pupils and below. Over 250,000 pupils took part nationally and we met with significant success. 3 Golds awarded to Sam Heywood, Duncan McNeill and Luke Comerford. Luke was the best in school and olympiad participant; only 5% in the Country have achieved this level.

8 Silvers were awarded to Alice Wilson, Elliot Saunders, Isobel Thornton, James Wood, Abigail Brass, James Drury, Benedict Pulver and Molly Campbell. 15 Bronze awards went to Anisha Paston, Elliott Linney, Natalie Storey, Oliver Harris, Samual Cave, Brad Knight, Imre Juhasz, Bradley Ferncombe, Charlotte Roe, Dan Myers, Daniel McArdle, Luke Pickett, Toby Nicholson, Cameron Webby-Halsall and Emily Phipps. A very big congratulations and well done to you all !
