Worcester had the pushback which was quickly intercepted and allowed Evesham to take control early on in the game.

Evesham played the ball wide out at every opportunity to create space and quickly settled down into the game unlike Worcester who were unnerved by Evesham's dominance which worked as an advantage and allowed a number of home attacks.

A number of short corners were won as a result of but Evesham were unable to produce a goal until the end of the first half when Vickie Pullin planted the ball into the net.
