A TALENTED Worcestershire painter has been displaying her work at the Society of Women Artists' annual exhibition.
Anne Cherry, from Naunton, near Upton-upon-Severn, is among some of the finest contemporary artists from all over the world who have been exhibiting at the Westminster Gallery in London.
Inspired by Turner and Sergeant, she has focused on outside works this year, including a picture of ice melting on a millpond.
The Rockpool, Musical Rest and Chanson de Matin are among a selection of her paintings.
Although she normally exhibits at the Shell House Gallery, Ledbury, it is the 15th year Ms Cherry's work has featured in the 800-work London exhibition, which finished on Tuesday.
The Society of Women Artists was established in 1855 to give female painters an opportunity to exhibit when funding and recognition was a struggle.
Last year, Ms Cherry was given the prestigious HRH Princess Michael of Kent Award.
