ALCESTER'S hopes of a third place finish were dented by a 34-7 loss to lowly Old Wheats at the weekend.
And the display left Kings Coughton skipper Alan Williams fuming.
"We were crap," he said, "I can't put my finger on it because we had a great game against Standard the week before.
"They were a lot better than us, they wanted it more, there was no will to win from us. We dominated the line out through Pat Lamb and Tony Williams but that was the only ball we won."
The club are set to field A and B sides against neighbours Redditch at the weekend with details to be confirmed.
And the following weekend Alcester visit Amsterdam in their Easter tour to take on the Pink Panthers and another Dutch side. Alcester return to Warwickshire One action at home to Spartans on Saturday, April 6.
