GOLF: Bewdley Pines will be welcoming television celebrity Chris Tarrant on May 18 but they have no chance of winning a million pounds.
Tarrant is visiting to officially open their new clubhouse in a busy 2002 which has also greeted a new professional.
Will Grey, 24, has arrived in the area from Market Drayton and is aiming to qualify for the British Open.
Meanwhile, Pines have appointed their captains in Andy Beaman (club), Margaret Taylor (ladies), Mike Brewer (seniors) and Matt John (juniors).
Beaman, who has taken over from Martin Bedwell, hopes to see even more money raised for charity from Bewdley's Opens which raised £3,500 for the County Air Ambulance last year.
