A FOX on the Heightington road at Ribbesford caused a driver to swerve and knock down a telegraph pole.
Police who were called to the accident arrested the driver after a breath test, Kidderminster magistrates heard.
Robert Broadley, a 29-year-old electrician, of Heightington Road, was banned for 18 months and fined £350, with £55 costs.
He admitted driving his car with a breath alcohol reading of 65, against the limit of 35. He swerved instinctively when the fox ran out, said Andrew Wakeman, for Broadley. The fox was killed.
