NOW, let me see, have I understood Mr Oborski's reports?
He proposes we all pay a lot more council tax, and then services will be cut. Is that it?
Surely he means that although we have to pay more, things will improve, at last, for all of us?
All rubbish will be cleared from our streets, parks and verges will be regularly maintained, our young people will have places to meet socially, roads and footpaths will be gritted in icy weather, our embarrassingly dirty underpasses will be completely redesigned, and all pensioners will have free travel on public transport.
Also we may, occasionally, set eyes on a patrolling police presence.
Please explain again Mr Oborski. What is it exactly we are paying for? We all want to know.
