HANBURY Hall and Gardens re-open for the season this Sunday.

The stately home offers a wealth of things to see and do during the Easter holidays.

The successful Tercentenary Exhibition will be open again this year but with more new information and interactive displays.

A major new attraction - opening on May 19 is the Bowling Green, a further stage in the ongoing recreation of the early 18th century gardens, and the first-ever playable bowling green owned by the National Trust.

Open Furniture Days is from Sunday April 21 to Wednesday April 24 and will feature fragile and unusual items of furniture for visitors to enjoy the incredible craftsmanship of these wonderful antiques.

Hanbury Hall is open Sunday to Wednesday and Good Friday.

The gardens, tearoom and shop opens at 12noon and the house and exhibition from 1.30pm.
