The forge will be open to the public for this first time this year on Easter Monday.
The next date to note is May 12, when the forge will open for National Mills Day. The latter is one of the forge's regular open days, but this year coincides with Local History Week. Opening times are from 2pm until 5pm, with children under 12 admitted free.
This historic forge is gradually being restored. It was used for making spades and shovels, then ladles for the glass industry. Examples of all these items can be seen, plus old photographs and original trade documents. There are two working water wheels and a large mill pool.
The forge is 4.5-miles from Kidderminster, lying between the A451 (Stourbridge) and A456 (Birmingham) roads.
For further information telephone Mrs Hayward on 01562 700476 - group visits can be arranged.
The website contains photographs and history on www.churchillforge.org.uk.
