The 28th Young Musicians Recital featuring two of president Beryl Chempin's pupils, Yealin and Chaelin Chung, attracted a large audience to Kidderminster Library.

Chaelin played Bach's Concerto in the Italian Style, John Field's Nocturne in D Minor, Chopin's Etude in C sharp minor, Haydn's Sonata in E minor, Debussy's Jardins sous la pluie and Grieg's Puck, the last two without music.

Yealin played Chopin's Opus 9"numbers one and two, and Opus 15 in F, Poulenc's Nocturne no 1 in C, Britten's Nocturne from Sonatina Romantica, To the Spring by Grieg, Un Sospiro by Liszt and Brahms' Rhapsody in E flat.

The programme ended with duets of Spanish dances by Moritz Moszkowsky.

Tomorrow evening, treasurer Bob Drew will be Hungary for Music, a programme of recorded music, at Holy Innocents Community Hall, starting at 7.30pm. Visitors are welcome, there is a nominal entrance fee, which includes interval tea or coffee and biscuits.
