A proposal for a new children's playground for the under 12s is being co-ordinated by Rachel McGill for the Jubilee Playground Committee, currently the nearest playgrounds are at Ledbury and Cradley and they feel that there is a large junior population in the village who would benefit from such a facility. They are considering two sites: 1. The area in front of the Parish Hall - with additional safety measures; 2. The original village play area behind Forge Bank. Submissions are currently being made to the relevant authorities and committees for their consideration. The committee envisage that sufficient funding for this project can be raised through grants and planned fund raising events throughout the year.
