THE Worcestershire U14 (Clubs) rugby squad in action this Sunday at the annual North Midlands County U14 Festival (2pm) at Droitwich RFC will contain no less than six players from the successful Malvern RFC U14 squad.

Chris Prosser, Matthew Tighe and Ross Tolley, who all go to The Chase school, will be joined by Dyson Perrins' pupils Dan Rushforth, Liam Moloney and Jamie Blackmore in the 26-man squad that also contains players from Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Woodrush and Worcester.

The players, who have been training hard with the Worcestershire U14 (Clubs) side since last October, are out to prove to the selectors from the North Midlands RFU that they have that bit of extra.

Another local player in the squad is Jake Abbott from Hanley Castle High School, who currently plays as a flank forward for Worcester RFC U14's.
