THE traditional new captain's drive in took place last Sunday at the Worcestershire Golf Club in Malvern Wells following the previous evening's captain's change-over dinner.
New captain, Mel Stocker, a 10-handicapper, has been a club member since 1988 and has previously been on the board of directors for three years.
His year's nominated charity will be the County Air Ambulance.
Mr Stocker, the managing director at Malvern Glass, will be heading a group of 50 players to compete for the bi- annual Malvern Bowl in America during the summer.
