HANLEY Swan Caravan Club is set to almost double in size after district planners gave the go-ahead to build 44 new all-weather pitches.
The new pitches will take the total number of caravan pitches at the Blackmore End site to 101, with a new looped road being constructed to serve them.
The development is taking place at the north end of the nine hectare site.
At their meeting on Monday (March 18), members of the southern area planning sub-committee voted to approve the plans.
