UNEMPLOYMENT levels have fallen again in the Vale of Evesham. Latest statistics show that the number claiming unemployment benefits in the Evesham travel-to-work area fell by 129 from February last year to February this year to 423, 1.2 per cent of the workforce and a slight fall on the previous month.
Across Wychavon unemployment dropped to 918, representing 1.5 per cent of the workforce. The comparable figure for Worcestershire as a whole fell by more than 1,000 to 5,819, 2.1 per cent of the workforce.
