I WROTE recently to a rail company complaining about the service I had experienced when travelling on the north/south route through this county.
The only response I received focused on possible compensation, which I had not requested. It ignored the issues of concern to me.
A letter to the MP for Leominster, who pursued the matter on my behalf, brought the detailed response I had sought in the first place.
Writing to one's MP, thus using the democratic process we complain about so often, can have a positive outcome.
