JOY Turner writes (You Say, March 13) suggesting everyone cleared outside their houses and use the litter bins, and so on, in readiness for the Queen's Jubilee, to make everything look tidy.
It would be a great help, if and when the roadsweeper came up our road, if he would make a better job of it.
Sometimes, it's worse after he has gone. Our road drains need to be cleaned out more often, too. I can't remember when they were last done - undoubtedly ours is not the only road to be left neglected.
Perhaps, with the increase in council tax and a bit more co-operation from the council, we could make Worcester nice and tidy for the Queen's Jubilee.
