MALVERN RADAR 8, PLUMBERS ARMS 2

A HAT-TRICK from Radar's top-scorer Nial Henderson helped Radar to a comfortable Worcester Division Two win at Victoria Park last Sunday.

Two first half goals from Henderson and a 20-yard free kick from Clive Churchill gave Radar a 3-1 half-time lead.

Further second half efforts from Gary Harman (two), Trevor Bagnall, John Rooney and Henderson, completing his hat-trick, ended the rout.

Dave Lees in the first half and Ross Freeman scoring for the visitors.

No game for Radar this weekend.

KAYS 1, MALVERN PREMIERS 3

MALVERN Premiers have certainly come into their own again in the second part of this season and extended their unbeaten run to six wins when they beat Kays 3-1 in Worcester League Division Two last Sunday.

Kays opened the scoring but a 20-yard free kick from Premiers' Keith Reynolds equalised just before half-time.

Premiers dominated the second half with Nick Kordas latching on to Prems' keeper Steve Newman long kick to score before Lee Henderson finished well from a very acute angle.

Malvern Premiers, sponsored by the Cross Keys, play away this Sunday against Langland Sports in the first of two consecutive local derbies against the same team. Players meet at Victoria Park no later than 9am.

KEYZ RM 5, KAYS ATHLETICO 7

ANOTHER defeat for Keyz in an exciting but error-ridden match that was a personal triumph for Kays' Martin Nicholls, scorer of six goals.

Three down early on Keyz showed great spirit in fighting back but were always behind. Keyz scorers were Grubb (two), Thompson, Ching and Mitchell.

This Sunday Keyz RM are away to Severnside. Meet RSRE Club 9.30am.

WYVERN UNITED 3, EXPRESS 88 FC 4

EXPRESS made it three wins out of three but made hard work of a Worcester Sunday League Division Two game that they never looked like losing.

Express scorers were Mark Taylor (two), Sean Clarke and Steve Hill.

Mel Stimpson deservedly winning the Express man of the match.

This Sunday Express are away to Kays, players meet 9.30am Express.

RED LION FALCONS 3, AFC NORTHWICK RESERVES 1

RED Lion Falcons overcame higher-placed Northwick reserves in a competitive encounter at the Chase on Sunday courtesy of two clinical finishes from leading scorer Dave Jenkinson, the second his 25th goal of the season, and an opportunist strike from Monty Hale.

Man of the match was John Rose.

BELL INN 98 4, BREWERY 1

WITH the coveted 4th league position up for grabs the Bell Inn 98 took the field on a blustery Ross Road playing field against The Brewery in an attempt to avenge the two league defeats of the previous season.

The Bell scorers were Neil Davies, Pete Boyle (two) and Paul Miller (penalty) with Mark Herbert netting for the visitors.

Bell's man of the match was Ashley Jones.

Next week the Bell have a tricky semi-final of the President's Cup away at Callow End. The game is to be played at County Sports ground in Worcester, players are requested to meet at the Market House at 9.15am.
