LEADERS Redditch Roamers were beaten 7-3 by Evesham Rowing Club in division one of the Worcester Table Tennis League.
Evesham completed the double over Redditch, and Nick Mytton and Mark Bilsborrow both won their three singles, but in partnership they were beaten in five sets by Chris Maiden and Chris Hewitt.
Hewitt and Gay Greening both beat Doug Payne for Roamers' other two wins.
Evesham also beat Rainbow 6-4, but the Evesham players all lost to Wayne Chopping. Steve Mitchell won Rainbow's fourth game by beating Steve Dorrell.
Mytton and Mark Green won two singles each for Evesham and Mytton also won the doubles with Dorrell.
Rainbow defeated Kanner 6-4, who were a player short.
Chopping again won all his singles, and Trevor Simmons gained a vital win over Chris Metti, 14-12 in the fifth set.
Alex Westwood won two singles for Kanner, and with Metti won the doubles 11-8 in the fifth against Chopping and Pete Griffiths.
YMCA Thunderbirds beat bottom club Pavilion Players 8-2 with Lee Horton and Mark Brooks winning three singles each, but in partnership they were extended to a fifth set by Helen Pogmore and Janet Hunt.
Successes
Pogmore and Margaret Dig-num both beat James Bewley for Players' successes.
Thunderbirds then lost 6-4 to Evesham Rowing Club.
Bewley and Adrian Tottey won two singles each, both beating Mark Green and Doug Payne. Sarah Thatcher and Tottey lost the doubles 11-7 in the fifth to Payne and Nick Mytton, and Mytton secured the points by beating Tottey 11-9 in the fifth.

DIVISION TWO
Broadheath Barflies' draw with leaders UCW B means with one match to play, they cannot catch them.
YMCA Hornets are the only team with an outside chance of pipping UCW to the title.
Relegation looks like a battle between St Martins and Hartlebury 'B', although Cripplegate Guild must secure two points from their last three matches.

DIVISION THREE
OE's lost 7-3 to second-placed Broadheath Bellters.
In-form Aileen Berry gave the visitors a good start, beating Matt Lang in four sets. Roger Bates then defeated Brian Ovington in four sets after losing the first 11-1, but Lang defeated both Brett Brining and Bates, the latter in five sets.
But OE's lost the remaining six games, leaving the Bellters still in with a chance of overhauling leaders Himbleton 'C', who they meet in the final match of the season.
YMCA Falcons, who are third, kept in touch with an 8-2 win at Hartlebury British Legion 'C'. Chris Field won both games for Hartlebury, beating John Cawthra and Jolyon Haywood to leave John Stalker unbeaten for Falcons.
Results: OE's 3, Broadheath Bellters 7; Hartlebury British Legion "C" 2; YMCA Falcons 8.
