REGARDING the letter from A W Goode (You Say, March 9) I would like to point out that members of residents' groups and the tenants' board have been working hard to make sure that all council tenants are kept fully informed of any changes proposed to the way their homes are managed.
Last year, all council tenants were sent a newsletter inviting them to workshops and meetings to find out the pros and cans of the options being looked at by the council.
Tenants also went on fact-finding visits to see what other councils have done.
The council has decided to consult tenants on transferring its homes to a new landlord.
It is important that all tenants have access to independent and impartial advice.
Worcester's council tenants will soon have their own independent Tenant Adviser to answer questions and to make sure that they have the safeguards they want about the future of their homes.
I would ask all tenants to become involved. Look out for events in your local area to find out more. It is your vote that will decide the future of your homes.
PEGGY DUGMORE,
Chairperson,
