A THIEF grabbed cash from a till in the shop section of a garage in Washford Drive before making off on foot.
The incident happened near Park Farm Industrial Estate just before 8pm last Tuesday.
The man entered the shop and as the assistant tended to someone else, he reached across the counter and grabbed cash from the till before running out, where he met up with a second man.
The thief is described as white, age 20-25, with dark eyebrows and was wearing a blue fleece and cream coloured hat. The second man was also white, aged 20-25, of slim build and about 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a dark grey jacket.
Police are now looking at CCTV footage and are appealing for a member of the public who was in the store at the time to call them on 08547 444888.
