ANGER over the proposed closure of a Headless Cross post office continued this week with a town health watchdog pledging to take up the case.
The Advertiser reported last week Rectory Road Post Office was due to close as part of a nationwide restructuring strategy.
County councillor and Bromsgrove and Redditch Community Health Council (CHC) member Tom Wareing said he had been approached by several people appalled at how the closure would affect the elderly and disabled.
Last week, a Post Office spokesman said the closure of the branch would improve the long-term prospects of other branches in the area.
