WHEELS are being set in motion for a fascinating new exhibition at Forge Mill Museum.
The South Midlands branch of the Royal Enfield Owners' Club will be showing their treasures at the museum from Saturday to Bank Holiday Monday, May 26.
Royal Enfield motorcycles, bicycles, the Charles Rogers Trophy collection, more than 200 previously unseen photographs and fascinating memorabilia from the firm which is famous all over the world can be seen in the exhibition.
Ray Tew, one of the organisers, has had a lifelong passion for the marque since getting his first bike when he left school.
He still rides an Enfield bike and also makes a living repairing them.
He joined the branch to meet fellow enthusiasts and to find out more about the history of and people involved in the Royal Enfield factory.
The local branch of the Royal Enfield Owners' Club, which has 60 members, is part of a wider club with more than 2,000 members.
The branch is also organising a major event at Arrow Valley Park on Saturday, July 12.
'Redditch Revisited', organised with Redditch Council, will be the biggest ever gathering of Royal Enfield bikes in the club's history.
