DEAR EDITOR -- We appear to have a cowardly poison-pen letter writer in Droitwich Spa, who feels able to tell lies without giving their name.
My colleagues and I, some of whom had not even been elected and others who had only served for four years, were shocked to find that we are apparently responsible for building on public parks and playing fields (where?), felling trees at St Andrew's House Hotel (when?) and the installation of the Droitwich Homeless Project, which has been in situ for many years.
I for one cannot remember any of these instances.
Who is behind them? Why are they so ashamed of what they are saying that they cannot put their name to their statements?
I would ask the writer of these unfounded statements to do the decent thing and come forward, give their name and full evidence of the details distributed around the town.
