PLANS to upgrade Alcester High School Technology College were approved last Wednesday despite objections from the local parish council.
The plans, which include extending the art, music and administration blocks as well as a new performing arts room, were given the go-ahead by Warwickshire County Council's regulatory committee.
Another set of plans for a two-storey teaching block at the Gerard Road site has also been submitted to the county council. These plans are available for inspection at Alcester Library or Elizabeth House, Stratford.
