POLICE are appealing for information after high value coats worth nearly £30,000 were stolen from Wychbold.
Members of the public have been warned to look out for offers of stolen property after 54 high value women’s coats, worth £29,000, were stolen from Cotswold Outdoor at Webbs of Wychbold, near Bromsgrove.
Five men were seen on CCTV breaking into the garden centre between 7.20pm and 8pm on November 15.
Amongst the manufactories of the coats taken are Ama, Amplitude, Aura, Calisto, Evolution, Intervale, Kaya, Nanga, Nakiska, Partner, Paclite, Precip, Resolve, Seraph and Wakefield. The coats are in variety of colours and sizes.
A spokesman for West Mercia police, said: “It is highly likely that the coats will be offered for sale during the run-in to Christmas and could crop up in a number of places.
“Anyone who is at all suspicious about what they are being offered, or the person offering it, should contact us immediately.”
Officers are appealing for anyone with information, or who was near the Worcester Road premises during this period and saw or heard anything suspicious, to come forward.
To contact police, call 0300 333 3000 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting 205N/151109.
