DROITWICH police are appealing for help in tracing a former Royal Marine from the town who was due to go on a family holiday on Monday, (August 31).

Paul Cox, 40, has been missing from his Willets Road home, since Sunday, (August 30) when he left work at 9.30am.

Mr Cox was expected to meet wife Lisa for lunch in Wychbold at 2pm on the day he went missing, but did not appear and has not been heard from.

Police believe he was planning to visit locations in Droitwich, Kempsey and Worcester, to collect payment for recently completed work.

A spokesman for Droitwich Police said: “Mr Cox has never gone missing previously and we and his family are concerned that he has not turned up for a planned meeting with his wife and not made any contact since leaving home.”

Mr Cox is white, 5ft 11ins, of stocky build, with short, brown hair and blue eyes. He speaks with a Midlands accent and was wearing a polo shirt, blue jeans and trainers.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 0300 333 3000.
