THE Droitwich Spa and District Horticultural Society is set to hold its 61st show.
There will be classes for flowers, fruit, vegetables, handicrafts, photographs, cakes and preserves, childrens exhibits and floral art at the event from 1pm on August 31. Closing date for entries is Thursday, August 27.
Attractions at Droitwich Spa Sports and Liesure Centre, Briar Mill, will include a puppet theatre, fairground organ, merry-go-round, inflatable slide, a garden design exhibit and face-painting.
There will also be stalls for plants, books, bric-a-brac, a tombola, raffle and others. Throughout the afternoon there will be a blackboard art competition for children of all ages to enter. Refreshments will also be on hand.
The Mayor of Droitwich Spa will help present the awards at 4pm, which will be followed by an auction of produce and raffle draw.

Tickets cost £1.50 for adults, 50p for children aged five-15 years, and under 5s free.
