A DROITWICH drummer will join hundreds of fellow musicians for a world record attempt in aid of charity.
Chairman of the Worcester and District branch of the MS Society, Mike Clarke, 67, from The Holloway, will join 599 others at Birmingham’s NIA on Monday (July 13).
The group will play their full drum kits at the same time between 1pm and 4pm in an attempt to break the current world record of 533 people, a feat that could net the MS Society thousands of pounds from prize money and sponsorship.
“We hope to break the record and raise the cash for the MS Society. We will all play our drums at the same time to hopefully beat the current record,” said Mike.
