YOUNGSTERS are being encouraged to design an eco-friendly house and help their school get new equipment.
Tesco in Mill Wood Drive, Warndon Villages, Worcester, is holding the competition.
The winner will get 1,000 schools and clubs vouchers.
Store manager Adam Kirk said: “We are looking for a picture which is properly annotated with the features of the house.
“We want to give schools that have not had the opportunity to get a lot of vouchers a leg-up.”
There are three age categories: Five to seven, seven to nine and nine to 11. The winner in each category will receive 1,000 vouchers, second prize is worth 500 vouchers and third prize is worth 250 vouchers.
Schools and clubs can then redeem the vouchers for sports equipment, cookery utensils, playground toys, computers, art equipment and much more.
To enter, pick up a form from the store’s customer service desk and return the finished design by Sunday, June 7.
