A BIKE worth £1000 was stolen from outside a city supermarket.

An investigation has been launched after a Specialised Ladies Mountain Bike was stolen from the locked bike area outside Asda and B&M.

The bike has light blue and red writing and a thick tube frame.

It was stolen between 9.15am and 9.30am on April 10. 

A spokesperson for Worcester SNT said: "We are investigating a theft of a bike which occurred on Silver Street Worcester.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.
