A new handrail has been installed in Droitwich after residents complained to a councillor.
Residents of Willow Court in Droitwich wanted the railing as a way to connect their homes to the Park way area.
Willow Court resident, Donna Harris said: "The railing was something many of the local residents were asking for, as the steepness of the path was something a number of them were worried about. They now have a railing to help them."
Worcestershire County Council councillor for Droitwich West, Richard Morris, said: "I am really pleased the railing is now in place and can help residents feel safer when walking about.
"It has taken longer than I had hoped to meet their request, but finally it's now there."
