From some drag action to a range of uncanny tribute acts, there's lots to get up to in Worcester this weekend.

A Foreigners Journey

First up on Saturday (March 23) at 7.30pm, award-winning tribute band of rocks groups Foreigner and Journey, 'A Foreigners Journey' will be performing at Huntingdon Hall.

After being crowned both the 'UK's Number 1 Tribute to Foreigner' and 'UK's Number 1 Tribute to Journey', Jeff Pilson, bass player of Foreigner said: "Check out this amazing band, they rock".

Be ready to groove along to the classics like 'Don’t Stop Believin’ and softer power ballads like 'I Want To Know What Love Is'.

Tickets are available for £20.

Fabulous Miss Bridy & the 2 Notes

The Alma Tavern will be hosting a night of drag when the 'Fabulous Miss Bridy & the 2 Notes' comes to town on Saturday at 8.30pm.

The cabaret act is renowned for its rock and pop covers served with a generous helping of "fun and frolics".

Tickets are up for grabs for £5.

Worcester Vegan Market

Also on Saturday, from 11am to 6pm, those looking to engage in sustainable and environmentally friendly shopping can visit the Worcester Vegan Market on the High Street.

Since it began in 2021, the event has been showcasing a diverse array of vegan street food vendors, artisan bakers, craft brewers, ethical jewellers, sustainable chandlers, artists from the area, environmental charities and more.

Ion Maiden and Wizards of Oz

Last but not least, on Saturday from 8pm, tribute bands 'Ion Maiden' and 'Wizards of Oz' will rock The Marrs Bar.

Ion Maiden, famous for their authentic replications of heavy metal band Iron Maiden's hits, has been performing since 2018.

'Wizards of Oz' will also take to the stage to offer a nostalgic trip into Ozzy Osbourne's post-Black Sabbath career.

Priding themselves on authenticity, they say: "We’d go for the music over the image, any time".

Tickets are available in advance for £15 or £17.50 on the door.
