Acclaimed theatre show The Songs The Beatles Gave Away is coming to Worcester.
It will take place on April 5 at Huntingdon Hall.
Iconic broadcaster Bob Harris and Colin Hall, former custodian of John Lennon's childhood home, are set to provide an in-depth exploration of the stories behind the famous band's songs.
The pair will be focusing on songs written by Sir Paul McCartney, John and George Harrison but given away for others to record.
Popular singles include Cilla Black's top 10 hit Step Inside Love, Peter and Gordon's chart-topper A World Without Love and Jackie Lomax's debut single 'Sour Milk Sea'.
Even the group's 18th number one single, Now and Then, is on the list.
Mr Hall said: "First and foremost I hope people will enjoy their evening with us and hopefully discover something new about The Beatles.
"Our remit is to delve into an often overlooked aspect of the story of the Fab Four.
"That aspect is, of course, songs John, Paul and George wrote at the time but chose to give to other artists to record rather than record with The Beatles.
"Bob and I not only trade stories people may not have heard before but along the way we call upon eye-witnesses such as Sir Paul himself, Sir George Martin, Cilla Black and George Harrison together with clips from the songs themselves."
Drawing inspiration from a BBC Radio 2 documentary and Mr Hall's book of the same name, the show promises a unique and engaging night for Beatles and music enthusiasts alike.
The Songs The Beatles Gave Away plays at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall at 7.30pm on April 5.
